Completed in 2022, As Oy Espoon Tammi is an example of how effective collaboration between two leading industry specialists, Voltan Lähienergia and Tom Allen Senera, enables the delivery of sustainable and cost-efficient energy solutions.

A geothermal heating solution based on Voltan’s service model was implemented for the housing company. The system provides environmentally friendly and worry-free heating energy without large upfront investments or financial risks for the property.

Voltan selected Tom Allen Senera as its implementation partner. Having won the project tender, Tom Allen Senera was responsible for the technical execution of the system. Voltan’s Project Manager, Jussi Kilpelä, has been highly satisfied with Tom Allen Senera’s professional and efficient performance throughout the project.

The approximately 80 kW heating system ensures that As Oy Espoon Tammi benefits from reliable and energy-efficient heating throughout the year. Combined with Voltan’s service model, the overall solution delivers both economic and environmental advantages.

Voltan’s Service Model – A Worry-Free, Long-Term Solution

Voltan’s service model is designed to make the transition to geothermal heating as seamless as possible. Voltan assumed full responsibility for the development and investment of the geothermal system at As Oy Espoon Tammi. The housing company pays only for the energy consumed, while Voltan covers all system-related operating costs throughout the contract period, including electricity consumption, maintenance, and potential equipment upgrades.

This model provides the housing company with a clear and predictable cost structure, eliminating the need for significant capital investments and reducing exposure to energy price volatility.

Voltan has supplied heating energy to As Oy Espoon Tammi for 24 months following the completion of construction, with operations running entirely without issues. The intelligent building automation system delivered by Tom Allen Senera enables Voltan’s remote monitoring to ensure continuous, optimal system performance.

An Ecological and Responsible Choice

Geothermal heating represents renewable energy, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of As Oy Espoon Tammi compared to conventional heating solutions. As a result, the climate impact of residential living is meaningfully decreased, making Voltan’s service model not only financially attractive but also a sustainable choice for future housing developments.
